Personal Injury

Personal Injury / Accidents / Slips and Falls / Premises liability and Negligence

If you have watched late night or daytime TV, you have seen advertisements for injury attorneys who claim to be like pit bulls: aggressive, uncontrollable, highly antagonistic.  They want you to think that law is best practiced using high levels of testosterone and extreme emotions.  This is a silly idea.

As a New York City lawyer, I believe that the practice of law involves brain matter, not bull matter.  The pit bull comparison is a good way to show just how absurd these claims are.  For the most part, pit bulls are impulsive, stupid and out of control.  A better comparison would be a German Shepherd.  They are smart, know the rules and can take care of themselves when need be.  I’d be much more inclined to compare myself to a German Shepherd.  I know the law, I understand how to use it to my advantage and will get aggressive at the right time.

Judges and juries don’t want to deal with a lawyer who is filled with animosity for the other side; they want to see professionalism, knowledge, a grasp of the facts and an understanding of the law.  This is how I practice.

I work together with my clients at JCarbonaro Law, to develop strategies that work for accident victims of all types: Premise liability, slips and falls, motor vehicle accidents and more. My client’s best interests are at the center of my law practice. In sum, you will experience for yourself the principles upon which this law firm has been built in New York City and the Greater New York area.
If you have been the victim of :

  • A Motor vehicle accident
  • Premise liability
  • Personal injury
  • Medical malpractice
  • Negligence
  • Slips and Falls

.....Or any other type of personal injury situation, I can help. If you have been injured due to someone else’s negligence, hire the German Shepherd instead of the pit bull.

From the very beginning, Joe demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and knowledge of the case that my wife and I presented to him. Joe listened to our objectives and fought tirelessly to ultimately achieve them without the need of a full hearing process. He helped make the process very stress free.  ~Stuart Austein

CLIENT REVIEWS

"Mr. Carbonaro did a very good job for me with a claim I had to make on an employer. It was a delicate situation which he handled extremely professionally, with a keen understanding of labor law across multiple states. He was very persistent with the other party which ultimately led to a settlement I was quite satisfied with."
